I open my eyes.

It is still dark out. Either very late night or too early in the morning. I know, no birds chirping yet.

Why did I wake up? Oh yeah, bathroom.

I roll out of bed and head out of the room. I make it downstairs and for the bathroom.

I'm about to pull my thing out, but realize it isn't there. Sighing, I turn around, lift the lid, and sit.

No idea how this works exactly, but I don't have long to wait until I hear it. Relief.

My head nods forwards and I decide to prop a hand underneath it.

I start dozing off or waking up. I keep going between the two.

Sitting still, I reach for the toilet paper. I hold it out in front of me.

I think I dozed off again before I finally put the paper between my legs to wipe. Flush.

Pulling up my pants, I zombie walk out of the bathroom. I blink a few times and lay my head against the bathroom door frame.

It is comfort to the eyes, but my body wants to find someplace more comforting.

I head forwards and find a counter. I cross my arms and lay my head down on them. Nope.

Lifting off, I search again and see the lounging chair. I head over there and sit down into it. I curl up in a ball and find the sweet spot.

Soon, my dozing off turns into real slumber once more.

I feel a little lift.

It is short-lived, but there is warmth around my frozen arms. I curl into the warmth and fall back to sleep.

I feel a bit more awake when waking this time. I stretch my legs out and feel the relief of them popping. My head lifts, feeling a bit chilly from where it had been laying, and I rest it back down to the returned warmth.

My eyes barely manage to peel open.

I see the lounge chair I had been in. There certainly is no me in there.

I close my eyes and feel a temptation to groan. I have a very good idea where I am and not really sure how to respond.

My eyes glance down. There is a big, broad, and powerful chest right underneath me. Yeah, I figured.

I slowly get up, feeling something hang on my shoulder. There is a blanket over the two of us.

Oh God, I hope Mitch didn't come back to us like this.

I look around the living room for a few moments before I shamble off of Henry. In the attempt, he wakes up. I don't bother to look at him, not wanting to see what kind of smiling morning face he would have for me.

Instead, I feel his arms rest around my waist. There is a small shiver that runs up my spine when he does this. Mostly because of him brushing the goose-egg on my injured side.

"What are you doing here?" He asks me.

I shake my head. Like I know why I'm here.

"I don't know," is my reply.

He remains quiet for a little bit. Then I feel something that sends more than a shiver up through me. An electricity that jolts something new within.

His hand runs those fingertips across my bare stomach, feeling me there before laying a palm along. Butterflies go fluttering up inside there.

"You look a little thin, you know that?" He tells me. I raise a brow and shake my head. I look down at myself.

I am thinner. Last night, I thought I had only lost some pudge from the transformation, but I guess it wasn't done with me. I look like I had back in school. The exception to the breasts. At least they weren't any bigger.

"Well, you didn't even finish your soup and I can't even call that a meal. You need to eat more," he states. "New rule, I pick your meals."

I don't even question it. Just nod, accepting that as it is. Not like I have a tooth to worry over so much anymore.

"You're kinda obedient," Henry takes in. I keep quiet for a little, then nod. "Do you want me to drive today?"

This time I look down to him. Still silent, I nod.

"I'll get us some breakfast then," Henry says before letting me go.

I had dropped the story and returned to the beginning to rewrite the whole thing when I realized the direction it had been going in.

The rewrite had turned into an entirely different story, called Forest, but that had also been a catastrophic failure. It does emphasize on what had happened to Adrian before the story began, but I stopped writing Forest as well and had gone onto a successor of the idea I had in mind called: Risk. Now that one did work and it does have a continuation. XD
